Dear colleagues, esteemed professors, dear students, distinguished veterans and leading companions in the field of rehabilitation

It is a great pleasure and honor for us at the Iranian Orthotics and Prosthetics Scientific Association to hold the 15th Orthotics and Prosthetics Scientific Congress with the meaningful slogan “Improving Mobility, Changing Lives”. This slogan is not just a verbal combination, but rather reflects the existential philosophy, mission and lofty ideal of our profession.

Mobility is one of the most fundamental divine blessings and the key to independence, dignity and quality of life. When this blessing is disrupted for any reason, the lives of the individual, family and society are affected. In the orthotics and prosthetics profession, with science, expertise and most importantly, with love and commitment, we seek to place the key to mobility back in the capable hands of our compatriots. Every step we take, every aid we create, and every rehabilitation service we provide, is in fact a platform for “changing lives” and restoring hope, vitality, and efficiency in the community we serve.

This congress is a unique opportunity to bring together leading experts, researchers, and specialists from home and abroad to share the latest scientific achievements, new technologies, and best clinical experiences. Our goal is to further strengthen the knowledge and skills of our colleagues in order to provide more desirable, effective, and personalized services to our patients and clients.

I sincerely thank all the professors, researchers, and colleagues who contributed to the scientific richness of this event by submitting their valuable articles. I also express my utmost gratitude to the hardworking scientific and executive committees who made this congress possible through their tireless efforts.

We hope that this gathering, in addition to promoting specialized knowledge, will motivate all of us to take more solid and effective steps in serving society. With the help of God Almighty and with each other's cooperation and empathy, we can strive more than ever to "improve mobility" and ultimately "change the lives" of our loved ones who have placed their hope in our expertise.
